EARLIEST MADOCS OF WARWICKSHIRE

Madocs of Oswestry during the 1200s and 1300s apparently did a lot of business in Birmingham.

Oswestry is in Shropshire, so their information is on Shropshire Madoc page.

The raised-note numbers (& dates) next to names refer to the document number in

Court Records-UK, sorted by date on this website.

These were found in early records filed in Birmingham, Warwickshire.

The first set seems to be the same family so is numbered together (1a-1f).

The second set (2-8) I have been unable to determmine a family link for.
