MADOC OF CHESHIRE

 

I believe this seemingly French-English deCudynton family was granted land by William the Conqueror in the mid- to late 11th century.  This, then, would make Madoc below b.c. 1230 the first non-Welsh Madoc.  Also notice that by 1300, the name was more anglicized to Maddock.
