Madoc was son of Owain ap Gruffydd ap Madoc Fychan. Little is known about him other than through the activities of
his father.
His father was also called Owain
Glyndwr and Owain IV, and was the last Welsh Prince of Wales. Lord
Madoc inherited the titles Lord of Glyndyfrdwy and Cynllaith Owain and Squire
of Sycharth.

Madoc were Gruffudd b.c. 1390, Maredudd b.c. 1394, Tomas b.c. 1396. John b.c.
